Norman Lamb, the Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk, has secured an Adjournment Debate in the House of Commons on the subject of Community Transport.

The debate will take place in Westminster Hall next Wednesday, 16 July, from 3:30pm to 4:00pm.

Mr Lamb commented: "I am delighted to have been granted this opportunity to debate issues relating to community transport schemes. These services are vital, and I intend to highlight concerns over their future viability. The Government must do all it can to support and sustain community transport."

NOTES

Other Norfolk MPs have been invited to take part in the debate. They, together with Norman Lamb, recently met representatives of the Community Transport Association who wanted to raise their concerns.
