Lamb 'Delighted' at Broadland High School's Specialist Status

1.13.04pm GMT Thu 29th Jan 2004

Norman Lamb, the Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk, has expressed his delight at the Government's award to Broadland High School of Specialist School status.

Broadland has thus been given the status of a specialist Mathematics and Technology College.

"This is great news for everyone at Broadland High School, and the wider community," said Norman Lamb. "I congratulate all involved on this success.

"It is disappointing that North Walsham High School has not been successful in gaining specialist status on this occasion. However, I am happy to do anything I can to support any further bid that they might make."
