Norman Lamb announces programme for 2005 surgery tour of villages1.53.23pm UTC (GMT +0000) Sun 28th Aug 2005 Norman Lamb, Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk, has announced this year's programme for his annual travelling surgery tour of villages in the constituency. The tour will take place from Monday 5 to Friday 9 September. Mr Lamb's programme will include 60 surgeries in different locations across North Norfolk. At each place, there will be the opportunity to talk to the local MP about issues of concern, which he will then raise with the relevant authorities. As usual, arrangements will be quite informal. Anyone who wants to talk to Norman at any of the locations should simply turn up at the given time. There is no need to book an appointment, though it would be helpful for people who know they intend to be at any of the locations to let Mr Lamb's office know beforehand, to give some idea of possible numbers. "The annual tour has an important purpose in giving people the opportunity to attend a surgery and speak to their MP, some of who may otherwise not be able to go to one of the larger towns for one of my regular advice surgeries," said Norman Lamb. "As always, I am very much looking forward to the tour."
