Commenting ahead of the mass lobby for trade justice on Wednesday 2 November, Norman Lamb said, "This mass lobby is an excellent way of keeping trade justice high up on the Government's agenda."
"The G8 countries must not let the consensus that has been developed through Make Poverty History and Live8 slip away," he continued. "It is vital that both developed and developing countries liberalise their markets if we are to eradicate poverty in the developing world and to protect the environment."
People from North Norfolk coming to London to lobby Parliament on Trade Justice issues will be joining the East of England contingent and Norman Lamb will be meeting them on the day to discuss their concerns.
