Norman Lamb

Liberal Democrat MP for North Norfolk since 2001

Lamb Announces 6th Annual Village Surgery Dates in September

12.01.01pm BST (GMT +0100) Tue 22nd Aug 2006

North Norfolk MP Norman Lamb has announced this year's programme for his annual surgery tour of villages.

The Liberal Democrat MP will begin the tour of villages in his constituency on Monday 4th of September in Hoveton, concluding on Friday 8th September in Bacton.

Mr Lamb's tour includes 62 surgeries in different locations across North Norfolk. At each stop, there will be the opportunity to talk to the MP about issues of concern, which he will then raise with the relevant authorities.

Arrangements will be quite informal. Anyone who wants to talk to Norman at any of the locations should simply turn up at the given time. There is no need to book an appointment, though it would be helpful for people who know they intend to be at any of the locations to let Mr Lamb's office know beforehand on 01692 403752, to give some idea of possible numbers.

"For various reasons, it isn't always possible for people to attend my weekly surgeries in the main towns, and this tour has an important purpose in giving people the opportunity to speak to me in their own village," says Norman Lamb. "I am very much looking forward to the tour. People always raise an interesting range of topics with me such as the lack of affordable housing locally and concerns over Government foreign policy."
