Norman Lamb MP Embarks on Annual Village Tour - Full Schedule Here12.00.00am BST (GMT +0100) Tue 26th Aug 2008 Norman Lamb MP will once again embark on his annual tour of North Norfolk meeting people across villages within the constituency. The tour which starts in Hoveton on Monday 1st September takes Norman round 63 villages in one week. Norman will meet local people in each village and discuss any issues they may have in his role as MP for North Norfolk. The upcoming Annual Village Tour is a hallmark in Norman's calendar and is an initiative he was one of the first MP's to implement seven years ago upon entering office. Mr Lamb explains the benefit of the Annual Tour, "It represents a great opportunity for everyone in the constituency to get out and discuss local and national issues with their MP. I think it is important that as a Member of Parliament I strive to constantly keep in contact with local people and the Annual Village Tour gives me a chance to come and listen and to speak to local people and, ultimately, to help solve any issues they may have. I look forward to seeing a lot of people." The Annual Village Tour starts the week commencing Monday 1st September through Friday 5th September and is open to all members of the public.
